Farm to Table: Sustaining the Community

Please donate to help feed those in need while supporting a New York family farm.
I have partnered with both local food banks in the tri-state area and a 7th generation family farm in upstate New York, facilitating the shipment and delivery of farm fresh products to help provide meals to the food insecure. We have currently donated over 8,500lbs of food, equating to ingredients for 26,000+ meals.
Each dollar donated goes directly to the farm who ships the corresponding amount of product to the pantry. Given the direct partnership and the elimination of intermediary costs, we’ve been able to provide meals on average for less than a third of grocery store cost.
The current climate is anxiety inducing for most. As the situation continues to evolve, many face uncertainty about what their futures look like and how they can sustain enough income to support themselves and their families. At the top of everyone's minds - having enough to eat.
At the same time, local farms are suffering from supply chain issues, limiting their ability to offload products. As a result, waste has increased substantially and farms are struggling to stay afloat.
Please help me in supporting those in need as we start fundraising for year two- any amount makes a difference!
