My goal with Farm Talk Radio is to tell a story as I drive across Canada, weaving a mosaic of landscapes that focus on the people, places, and things that inspire me. Farm Talk Radio is an online hub for food, farming, and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to help shape the future of our current political, social, and economic system by sharing stories of local heroes and agents of change.
This will be a journey of self-discovery and exploration, one which I hope will help clarify the role that I want to play in the local food movement and in the overwhelmingly important conversation surrounding global food production.
Help me keep my aging Chevy Astro van on the road, help keep treats in the travel bag for Cooper, and help us tell this important story about Canadian farms and farmers. As I mentioned to you on my web site this is a self-financed dream and I am happy for it to remain that way. But, if this inspires you, with your help we can turn up the volume on Farm Talk Radio and make it go big! My primary costs, other than fuel and general van maintenance, are web design, video production, and audio editing. I do have a fantastic back end team working with me and the more I can pay them the more incredible work they will be able to do.
