Onalaska Farm Rescue urgently needs your help to replace the barn roof so we can start our rescue work this summer. LETS RAISE THE ROOF!
Starting a Farm Sanctuary has always been a dream of mine. Spent the last year putting all the pieces in place to make it happen. August 2019, I purchased this 13 acre farmstead in Onalaska Washington. If you have been following our journey, you know that this farm has been neglected for the last few decades. The barn has fallen into total disrepair - My goal is to restore the barn this summer so we can start saving farm animals in need this fall - It will be a lot of work but it will be worth it! We have decided to go with the Roof Doctor, since they have the most experience with barn repair. Their quote is $28,000 for a metal roof. The estimate is attached below.
Unfortunately, the barn has taken a beating, and the prior owners didn't have the energy, or the funds to keep it in tip-top shape. It is now in an urgent state, as the weather, rain and snow, are getting inside the structure.
