Smoky Mtn Mangalitsa, located on the Pigeon River in western NC, has been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Farmers, Rick and Catherine Topel rely on income from selling their pork and visitors to their farm.

Raging flood waters have damaged fencing, shelters, and watering facilities for livestock. Deep deposited mud, massive fallen trees, and shoreline erosion have devastated our campsites, eliminating our source of income.
