Farid A Cortes

I have a dear friend from Honduras. He has a kidney failure and need a kidney transplant  in order to survive. He has to be on dialysis every two days for three and half hours. Eventually , he can only be on dialysis for 5 years or so. He is in need for your help and your donation will be much appreciated.My name is Farid A. Cortes and I lived in the city of San Francisco, CA for more than eight years while studying at the University of San Francisco and Lincoln University.  I returned to my country of origin, Honduras in 2000.

In 2019, I developed end stage kidney failure and I am currently undergoing dialysis treatment 3 times a week.  Due to this condition I can’t work anymore and I don’t have the financial resources to buy medicine, pay for hospital visits and cover my health costs.  It has taken a financial toll on me. 

I am trying to get a kidney transplant so I can extend my quality of life.  Honduras don’t have the medical infrastructure to do transplants, so I have contacted a hospital in Mexico. It costs around $50,000 dollars, which includes two surgeries, hospitalization, donor-related procedures and others.
