We are devastated to announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Shelia Pittman. A woman who has brought so much joy, warmth, kindness, and guidance to not only our lives, but every individual she crossed paths with. If we were to list the titles she carried in this world, we would run out of space on the paper. Through your lens, you could have known her as a friend, confidant, congregant, sister, comrade, aunt, or maybe even a second mother. She fostered and took care of anyone in need (peers, children, animals, etc.) throughout her entire life. We ask for support in helping us take care of her the right way, one last time.

To honor her, we are raising funds to help with funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us celebrate her life and provide a meaningful farewell. We hope to reach our goal by 07/20/2025. We will share details of the service soon; just as her door was always open to others, her service will be open to all who wish to pay their respects.
