Farewell to Bobby Dutch

Last Saturday was the final day for Robert Meijerink on this earth. We’ve lost the highest level of Scottish Drumming in The Netherlands.
Many people have expressed their mourning. For the family this is a great support in this tough time.
We think many people would like to pay their last respects. But unfortunately it turns out that Robert was not insured for a burial or cremation. So the council has been instructed to take care of the funeral.
This however means that no one can attend.
Instead they want to hold a memorial service for Robert. So everyone that wants to pay his or her respects can do so. But as with the funeral they lack funds as well.
They are asking for help to give Robert the proper farewell he deserves.
If the donations exceed the cost of funeral. They will be put in a fund for the support of Scottish drummers in The Netherlands. And a prize at competitions: The Bobby Dutch Award.
