Help me bury my dad

I always knew that I would start a GoFundMe page at some point in my life. Both of my daughters ( 11 and 3) dream big and I live on a fixed income. I knew I would need help to help their dreams take flight. I never anticipated that I would be depending on the kindness of friends, family and strangers to help me make sure that my father gets a proper burial and that myself and my daughters get some closure. On Monday Sept 29, I received a phone call that would change my life forever. My father was found deceased after a concerned neighbor called the police and asked them to do a wellness check. It appears he died in his sleep for which I am eternally grateful. Unfortunately prior to his unexpected and untimely death, my father had  no arrangements made or money put aside for this  and now it falls to me. I am his only child and I am not in a financial position to be able to cover the expenses associated with burial, never mind out of state travel for myself and 2 children.  You see complicating the issue is the fact that my father died in another state, over 200 miles away from where I live.  Navigating this heartbreaking phase of life has been hard enough, add the distance and inability to access his important documents and I am fighting an uphill battle towards being able to provide him with the burial he deserves and provide my family with some measure of comfort knowing he is resting in peace especially his grandchildren. My father was a veteran who served his country with pride, honor and  as a member of the Air Force in the 60's. He was a  affectionate , caring man who loved to read Stephen King late into the night and fix things, all manner of things.  He was loud and loved to laugh. He would never admit it but I think he was an undercover Trekkie  and MANNNN could he throw down in the kitchen. He taught me so many things . So much of who I am came from him. The thought of him not having a proper burial breaks my heart beyond measure.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just a share would be fine.
