Fantastic Freshman

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with some outstanding teachers, mentors and parental figures who have influenced my life in the best ways possible. They have taught me to believe in myself in my darkest hour- even when I felt alone and forgotten. They have also provided me with an education, both in and out of the classroom, that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I was able to use what these remarkable individuals have given me to work up the courage to apply for college. Thankfully, I have been enrolled at Nebraska Wesleyan University for a B.F.A in Musical Theater. They have offered me a number of academic scholarships, but the financial gap still sits at about $6000. I am not usually comfortable asking for help financially, but I wish to utilize what my mentors have taught me and eventually use those lessons in college so that I can continue to inspire others through the arts.
