<div>My beloved mother-in-law, Natalia Fluitt, was diagnosed in October 2024 with Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HSCC) — a rare and aggressive form of throat cancer. She’s just 51 years old, full of life, energy, and love.

<div>Natalia is a woman who lives for family, friendship, and Zumba. For the past 10 years, she’s inspired and uplifted others as a Zumba instructor — dancing her way through life with joy and determination. Her passion for helping others shine has always been at the heart of who she is.

<div> A Life Turned Upside Down

<div>In hopes of finding better treatment and being surrounded by loved ones, Natalia left everything behind in Colorado and moved in with us — her son Nika and me (Brittany) — here in Pennsylvania. She made this huge sacrifice to be closer to the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where we’re now pursuing second opinions and specialized care.

<div>She brought only a few essentials with her, and now we’re working together to rebuild her comfort and stability from the ground up — all while managing her ongoing care and appointments.
