family's out of town expenses

A loving husband, father,grandfather, brother, and uncle, was severely injured in a traumatic car accident. He has been hospitalized since August 16th and still has a long way to go. He currently is in a coma and has multiple brain bleeds amongst other injuries he sustained in the accident. He has been through many cat scans, surgery, and many more procedures .The accident happened 3 hours+ away from home and his family has been staying in the area for the past week. Its a struggle to leave him and go home, his wife and another family members have been staying with him at all times. Within the past week, the family has spent over $1,400 in hotels, food, ect. -- We just ask for help in reaching our goal in order to keep his family close by him and to help stay with our mother d/t her inability to stay alone during this difficult time.
