Family's Car Lost To Fire

Our car went up in smoke ! It was a horrific event. My wife woke up to our car not starting yesterday. I, trying to take care of my family's vehicle tried to fix it myself. Always told start cheap, i went to my first instinct and thought change the fuel filter. After watching a video online and seeing it could possibly be a easy fix I attempted the fix myself. When I completed the job and tired to start the car it sparked and erupted in flames. Thanks to my quick thinking neighbor who dragged the car out of the cat port, our house was saved. I'm asking for $5,000 to get my family a safe, reliable vehicle. We found out 7 months ago we were going to have a child. We put every dollar we had into buying a safe vehicle, thinking we made the right decision. A few months later it's nothing but burnt plastic. Now I have no way too bring my son home in a few short weeks. Please help my family.
