The family climb. Kilimanjaro4kids!

Donation protected
Jambo! January 14th 2016 my dad and I will go on this amazing journey.

We will be climbing Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa, and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world! Its highest point, Uhuru Peak, is 5895 metres (19341 feet) above sea level.

We won't be doing this on our own. We will participate in the Boma's Kilimanjaro Klimb for Kids. A charity climb in support of Boma Community School.

Boma Africa has opened the Lindsay Kimmett Kindergarten; the first classroom of the Boma Community School. Children of the village now have the opportunity to attend kindergarten as the closest school was too far for them to walk. The children learn both in Swahili and English and benefit from foreign volunteers in the classroom. The funds raised this year will be used for day to day operations, a playground for the Boma children and to build a second classroom.

Climbing Kilimanjaro will truly be an amazing and extraordinary experience and
we are thrilled that we can do this for a great cause: to contribute to education for children of Tanzania. At the end of the trek we will visit the school and meet the children and the volunteers in the Boma Community School.

We look forward to your generous contributions. Six weeks to go and counting ...
