Transportation for Independence

We brought them home...the kids are in school and now its now time for Mimi to build her independence.  She wants to find a job and/or go to college.  She has an interview in the coming days and  Orientation to be a Substitute Paraeducator in our school district a few days later. But this requires transportation.  So we are relaunching our campaign to help her build a stronger foundation for her family.  The $7100 we raised originally amazingly paid for all the transportation costs to get all 5 of them home, pay the lawyer & buy some essentials when they first arrived. It was an huge blessing to have so many people join us in bringing them home. The lawyer is still working on her case & figuring out how to handle everything according to The Hauge Convention requirements since we brought the children home from Mexico without their father's written permission. Its not a quick process, but its do-able.

But presently we need to get Mimi some reliable transportation.  We're hoping to raise $3000-$4000 to go toward a good used car.  A mini van would be awesome since she would be able to take her family, her sister and nephew all together in one vehicle.  But if not, she could use a 4-door sedan-type vehicle that her and the four kids could all fit in together.
