Help James and His Family

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking time to read this note. My good friend, James Lee, was recently the victim of a horrible crime in Washington D.C. After leaving his bartending job in Virginia, James was headed home in DC and stopped for gas. While fueling, he was approached by 2 very young men with guns who told him to give up his car. He attempted to jump in his car and flee, but was shot multiple times in his back and other extremities. Remarkably, he managed to drive away, and call 911 before passing out from his injuries. He was struck a total of 7 times.

James, by the grace of God, survived, and continues to fight for a full recovery. He has endured three surgeries including one when a stint was put in his spine. He has a long, hard road to recovery and will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. His recovery could be anywhere from 6 months to a year.

James has a one year old son and a girlfriend who both mean the world to him. Medical and household expenses are mounting up.
