Family support for Cheryl Leibeling

Donation protected
Rob fought a courageous battle against a rare form of bone cancer for the past 5 years. Sadly he lost the battle this Thanksgiving weekend. Please help support his family by sharing this post.... ❤️

Here is his story....
One day 5 years ago Rob Leibeling was doing work on his truck trailer, he jumped down from his trailer and that jump changed his life forever. He had broken his back and after many trips to doctors and specialists they discovered that he had Myeloma a bone and blood disorder that is one of the more rare cancers.

Following his diagnosis Rob received extensive Chemo and blood transfusions along with numerous prescription drugs and pain killers.

Rob sought out everything he could find on nutrition and lifestyle changes as he lay in bed after his treatments. With the support of his wife Cheryl and son Kurt, Rob went into a period of remission and was able to go back to work.

During the past 4 years Rob has had some minor setbacks and has kept on fighting the cancer. Recently they discovered that the cancer had spread and the doctors said that there was nothing more they could do for him. Rob has been home and unable to work for the past several months leaving his wife Cheryl as the main income earner in the family. Their son stayed home to help with Rob's needs and care aids came a few times a day.

The battle has been long and hard on the family and it has taken everything they have to survive, leaving them with almost nothing.

You are never prepared for the words out of the doctor’s mouth: "We have nothing more to offer except comfort and support."

None of us ever dream that such a thing could touch our lives but then one day you wake up and there it is staring you in the face.

The time has come to reach out to the community.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts; family and friends of Cheryl, Kurt and Rob Leibeling.

The funds raised on this go fund me page will help in comforting and supporting the family. They will help to cover funeral expenses, loss of income, food, rent, vehicle expenses and grief counselling over the months ahead.

These funds are needed as soon as possible and will be distributed to Cheryl Leibeling.
