Family support after Father's heart attack

Hello, my name is Derek Patterson. I'm asking today for anyone who can, donate to help support our family after my father's recent heart attack. This event shocked the family and was a real scare during the holidays. Thankfully my father survived with a 99% blockage in his heart. We're all so thankful to still have him here with us.

My father's occupation, HVAC (Heating and Air Conditioning), is very physically intensive. The doctor has said he's not allowed to lift more than ten pounds and won't be in regular shape for eight weeks. This is problematic, as his line of work requires carrying machinery that's over hundreds of pounds. As the family's sole source of income, we've quickly run out of savings to keep us afloat. Along with occupational struggles, we are now under the strain of medical bills without health insurance.

It appears the physical strain on his body will force him into a completely new career over the long term. However, what worries us is surviving the present. My father has taken on so much in his life and supported three of us children and our mother in Virginia Beach, VA. My siblings and I know how much he's sacrificed to promote a safe and loving childhood. It hurts to know that we could never provide as much as he has for us. We're saving as much as we can, sticking together. Looking at things in a positive light, this obstacle has made our family the closest we've ever been.
