Family robbed at gun point in home invasion

Due to unfortunate circumstances, both my parents and my two kids, 6 yr old girl and 8 year old boy, were robbed at gun point during a home invasion yesterday 12/20/21 at my mother house in the Bronx Morris heights area. Two men, one dressed up impersonating a UPS worker with no mask on gloves, and an accomplice dressed with a black hoody black ski mask, knocked on the apartment pulling out a silver gun out of a cardboard box knocked on the apartment indicating a package was being left by UPS. Once my mother opened the door, he put the gun on her head and ordered her to back up and send her my father and two kids two the room to get tied up and took all cellphones my mothers iphone my son and daughters iphones as well as my daughters iPad Pro. Zip ties were handed so they can tie themselves up while being held at gun point. Once tied my parents were threatened to show where they can find money of any kind anything with value they had 10 second to speak or My kids were getting harmed first.
While the UPS impersonator held my parents and kids in the room at gun point, the other accomplice went looking all over the apartment, destroying the bedrooms apart as well as all the closets until they found a safe that belongs to my mother which contained $9,000US and all her legal documentation, as in residence green card, passport, birth certificates. They then proceed to my fathers closet where they found $950.00US and his legal documents as well green card, passport, birth certificate, everything. They proceeded to taking all the gifts under the Christmas tress and trying to stuff my moms shopping cart with as much items as possible. They broke glass all over the apartment to scare my parents. My mother is a hard working immigrant, 14 years working in the health department, and my father is now retired. 32 years in the United states and never had not even an argument with any civilian.
The robbers went knocking on a neighbors apartment but no answer. So they went to the next apartment which was ours. Unfortunately, it is the holiday season and some of us do online shopping expecting shopping to be easier, especially with covid, the last thing in mind was a robber impersonating a UPS worker. We may have lost a lot, but my parents and kids are alive. They are all traumatized, no one should have to experience this moment, especially two little babies. My kids haven’t slept with nightmares and haven’t been able to eat a meal today. The police are working in getting justice and finding these men as the forensic department has recovered fingerprints in the home as well as my building surveillance cameras that thank god are always up and running. I ask for help no one deserves this especially babies and the elderly!

My home was robbed with my parents and kids inside. The thieves tied up my kids and parents while they ransacked my home leaving my kids and parents extremely traumatized not being able to go to school or work.The thieves took All the gadgets around the house including phones tablets computers and and all the expensive wrapped gifts I have no idea why this is happening to me we see this on the news all the time and think it could never happen to you especially days before Christmas why would they take the kids tablet phones which has a iCloud out my kids hands. I’m completely heartbroken, makes me cry everytime my daughter says I hope I don’t have a bad Christmas followed by me having to lie and tell them the bad guys got caught so they won’t be scared which does not help her and my son keeps looking over his shoulder they don’t deserve this at all, and as a mother, I really thought about making this because of embarrassment to ask for help but as Christmas is days away I would love for my kids to forget about this and get better as everything was stolen from us even 1$ helps Gifts are also accepted From my Family to yours.
