Hello, I’m Ondean

Im a mom of 4 who recently lost the father of my youngest children . Their father was a strong man who ALWAYS put fatherhood first . Our sons together were his first children who are 4 & 3 years old. He was turning 43 this year . We weren’t able to have a funeral, nor memorial due to the traumatic & abrupt way he died. A closed casket wasn’t even possible due the enormous about of physical trauma to the body. We weren’t even able to say goodbye. We also weren’t able to handle his last affairs with his children nor the rest of his family. The tragedy of losing someone is already hard enough, but the rebuilding process is even harder when you don’t have your partner & co-parent by your side . I just want to keep our house and car as I figure out the next steps. I had to take a long leave of absence from work to care for our child with severe uncontrolled epilepsy, which was without pay. Their father, who I can only call “Big Stan” was our sole provider as we worked through learning our little ones condition and how to care for him. He was well loved in the CDL community, and loved being on the road!! I didn’t have time to prepare, and I am still grieving. We had toddlers who aren’t even school age yet, and I don’t know where to go from here. I’m asking for time… to put our lives back together and time to figure out the next steps. Help me get there .
