Family of 6 lost everything in fire

Today my neighbors lost their home and everything in it. Within minutes, the entire house was engulfed with flames, destroying everything inside. They were off island during the fire and will be returning to nothing. They are a family of 6 with two 8 year old twins, a 7 and a 4 year old. When we first moved into the house next to them, our power hadn’t been turned on. We had never met this family prior to this day but in the middle of the night, they ran an extension cord from their house to ours so that we could have some light that night. Our children are about the same age and have been best friends for the last 2 years. They’re in our lives every single day and have been such a blessing to my family and my children. Their kids are going to go back school when they return to the island and I hope they can have some sense of normalcy while their parents attempt to rebuild their lives from scratch. I hope that those of you in a position to help, will. I know this family to give immensely to their community and I would love to see my community come together to help them get back on their feet. Any little bit will help as they’ve lost everything.
