Family of Makayla Miller

Our great niece, Makayla Miller, daughter of Derrick and Kristy (Burkeen) Miller from Milan, MI., has suffered a devastating event. Makayla, 17 years old, was in a life threatening automobile accident on November 15th, 2019. She was taken to St. Joseph hospital in Ann Arbor, MI with a traumatic brain injury, suffered a stroke, has a disserted carotid artery, facial fractures, broken nose, two broken femurs, severe right foot damage, right Achilles heel damage, fracture in left ankle, fractures in her neck, which required a halo brace for at least three months, L4 fracture in her back, lung damage, which required her to be on a ventilator for over a week, with kidney and bladder issues as well.

Her parents and grandmother (Marilyn Burkeen) are not working so that they can be by her side, to aid her in this long and stressful recovery. Please consider a donation to help with the financial burden they are dealing with.  On behalf of the family, Thank You!!
