Family of Ginger Pillars

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida 18 years ago. She worked as a sales clerk with Belk of Lake City and worked at Westside Elementary School as a para-professional for over twelve years. Ginger was a loving mother, wife, and GiGi. She loved spending time with her “girls,” husband, and the joy of her life, her grandson Khalin.

The loss of our wife, mother, daughter and GiGi is immeasurable, but so is the love she left behind. She is survived by her husband, Steven W. Pillars of Lake City, Florida; Three daughters, Kortney Pillars, Stephanie Pillars (Devon) Reid and Skylar Pillars all of Lake City, Florida; her grandson, Khalin Lee; Her mother, Thea Smith (Charles) Cash of Silver Springs, Florida; her father, Charles Richard (Deborah) Stanton, Sr. of McDonough, Georgia; One brother, Charles R.
