Family of blind child loses all!

My name is Jennifer Scharry, and I am a teacher of students with Visaul Impairments in Santa Rosa, CA. Mario, a blind student of mine in Sonoma County, and his family have suffered many tragedies in their life. This last was more than any family should have to bare.

In the recent fires, their house, belongings, memories, and family dog all perished along with hope for rebuilding. Please GIVE THIS FAMILY HOPE back and donate what you can!!


Please share this story, even if you cannot give money. Estimated costs at rebuilding are unknown right now, but anything will certainly go to good use in getting this family back safely into a house.

Mario's mother, Cynthia Maldonado,  will have her bank account directly linked to this fund so that she may access the money. She will immediately be making purchases to replace the items her family has lost, especially necessities for her son Mario, whom is visually impaired, and 3 year old son Max.



Eventually, these funds will be used to move the family back into a rental home, but currently they will be replacing general items like clothes, furniture, appliances, and and linen.
