My name is Dr. Timothy M. De Troye, and I am seeking to raise funds to assist the family of my dear friend and mentor, Bishop John Aguilar . His story and service are amazing, and he has impacted lives all over the world as he helped spread the Gospel, train and disciple pastors, and build churches. He went home to be with the Lord on November 22nd, 2022.
Bishop John was one of those people who not only talked the talk - he truly walked the walk. He served in ministry for over 40 years, pouring himself and everything he had into his ministry, not holding anything back for himself. As the founder and Overseer of Shepherds Of Grace International, his work included building churches and training pastors both here in the USA and overseas. He actively participated in, and oversaw mission efforts across the African continent including the Congo, as well as India, the Philippines and Peru, to name a few.
Below are a few items from their most recent ministry efforts earlier this fall in Honduras:
He also led their local church in Graniteville, South Carolina. His wife and helper, Manjaree, assisted him full time while also serving as the General Director of the Women's Division of Shepherds Of Grace International. Both Shepherds of Grace operations are non-profit, and all donations received as well as any revenue generated was poured directly back into the ministry itself, in order to help as many as possible.
For many of his years of ministry, Bishop John battled with long term illness. This means that he was uninsurable. Since he could not obtain life insurance, he could not set up financial security for his family to help upon his passing. His wife, Manjaree, being wholly dedicated to Bishop John and the ministry, did not have an outside job as a source of additional income, therefore allowing more focus upon the Lord's work.
For this reason, his wife, Manjaree, and youngest child Josiah are in need of your donations of financial assistance during their recovery. Your donation will:
- help them to get through this devastating loss without additional concerns about what will happen "tomorrow"
- allow them to focus on their grieving and healing, instead of financial issues associated with the loss of their head of household
- remove stress about keeping their home or how to pay the many bills
- help them to get on their feet and give them the time they need to develop new sources of income and become sustainable
There is tremendous pain and stress associated with the loss of a spouse or a father. As he has done so much to help so many, I ask for donations now, to help his wife and family.
