 My name is Naomi. Today I am coming to tell my story and requesting assistance for me and my family as me and my family are facing eviction.

 My husband lost his job in October of 2025 due to recent changes in our Government and its administration. My husband was a senior Epidemiologist at the CDC for over 10 years before losing his job. I currently work in the city of Atlanta as a Customer Service Representative and have been working in my current position for over 7 years.

 Since October of last year we have exhausted our “rainy day” savings, both of our 401K’s as well as assistance from close family and friends. We have three beautiful daughters. A 16 year old who has just entered her 11th grade year in High School and a set of twins who are 6 years old and navigating elementary school. Recently, our twins were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and we have recently begun therapy treatments to assure their success in the future.

 for full transparency my husband and I are nervous and scared. We have been living in our home for over 5 years and now run the risk of losing the home we have made so many memories in with no place to go if the eviction is successful.
