Family Impacted by House Fire

On September 25th, Shelly, who is a dear friend of ours, experienced a tragic house fire that resulted in the loss of their family home and an immediate family member.  During this time they are faced with the financial burdens of securing a new rental property and replacing all furniture, clothing, and essential living items. They also have to bear the burden of funeral costs, family travel costs, and loss of income. 

We are reaching out to all of our friends and family with the hopes that we can all work together to help lessen the immediate financial burdens they are currently facing.  We are also collectively working to start putting together a benefit show (or series of shows) to raise  awareness of this fundraising campaign and add another avenue to help us provide what we can for them right now.  Shelly is not only involved in the music scene here in Orlando as the lead singer of Cool Grandma, she is also the Associate Artistic Director of Coby Project, a founding company member of Explore Dance Composite, and has worked with multiple other dance companies and bands. It is our hope that as a community, we can all rally behind her and her family during this unprecedented time and provide support in the best way we can right now.

We are trying to minimize the influx of communication right now and allow the family this necessary time and space.  We are tremendously thankful for the donations we have received so far outside of this campaign and hope that by setting this up, we can reach more individuals who are able to help them out during this extremely difficult time.
