Family home lost in Bushfire

Hi team, my name is Lauren and I’m from Lenswood in South Australia. My parents john and Deb have lost their home, sheds and fences in a bushfire at Lenswood in South Australia. But thankfully not themselves. This house was the fruit of both my parents labours for the better part of 22 years and the home I always thought I’d grow old in. I watched them systematically renovate and rebuild it by hand for most of my life. It was source of great pride for them. Anyone who knows my parents well know they are the most stoic, caring and selfless people and would never ask for help. They have insurance but this will take time. 

Ive been inundated with people who want to help and I don’t know what else to do apart from accept donations to gift to them for Christmas. Mum and dad will use this money to bey immediate essentials like clothes and shoes. I will add them as a beneficiary so they can access the funds you donate. But equally I need them to know how loved and supported they are and money isn’t the answer for that. Please lend them your ears. Give them a cuddle or send them a few dollars. Whatever sits best with you.
