Family Devistated By a violentcrime

Hi my name is Gabriella Ortiz,  I am from Rockford il,  And as most of you may know my life has changed completely on Friday April 13th. For my family and myself have fallen victim to a very traumatizing situation. As I was taking my 10 month old son and putting him into his car seat, I heard someone calling my name out loudly. I turned back to look and there the man who committed this awful crime was standing at the very end of my grass line near the back alley holding an assault riffle. I than immediately went to take cover of my son Lorenzo Ortiz, As the man opened fire I was struck with 2 Bullets in my left leg and one in my right, the one in my right leg went all the way through and to my son where he was hit in the shoulder very close to his head. I started screaming my baby has been shot and ran with my 10 month old baby in my arms as best as I could applying pressure to his wombs awaiting for the ambulance. My baby lost so much blood during this very cruel event that he had to receive 3 blood transfusions and emergency critical surgery. My mother and my 6 years old daughter both witnessed this terrifying and now very traumatizing situation. My son is going to need much more care and appointments as to will I. they are unsure if my son will ever be able to use his arm as a normal child and he will continue on going physical therapy. My car was takin and I have no transportation. I am making this go fund me to seek help for getting back on my feet as I am afraid to ever take my kids back to the home and seek a safer environment for my babies as well as needing help with transportation. I plan on buying a vehicle as it is hard to depend on others and my son has to go to madison wisconin for all of his doctors visits. Also since i am also injured i am unable to go back to work, so i need help with buying diapers and stuff for both of my son 10 month old  lorenzo and 6 year old daughter kaizaria.  I am also accepting any donations at all. Anything will help. I will post updates on baby Lorenzo as they become available to me. Please share my story.
