Everyday Food Mart Break in and Robbery

My father moved to the USA 25 years ago in hopes to provide a better future for his family. He has sacrificed much of his life for me and my siblings.  He is the hardest working man that I know. His business, Everyday Food Mart has been broken into numerous times, and twice in the the past couple weeks. Insurance is not covering the damages this time, and with the pandemic, business is slow.  The police have a lot on their plate right now, dealing with the riots, and they did not even show up to the scene and have not been able to locate those responsible for the robbery. We have been trying to cover the loss but it is getting to be tough. 

In 2018, my mom was stabbed multiple times at the business while she was working, and has been suffering from the complication to this day. Because of this, she has not been able to work and the burden has fallen on my dad. On top of this, the man who assaulted her will be having a trial soon to be potentially released. With all of this going on, the stress of the store and break ins are too much. My dad has been working 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, and now he has to deal with the loss and damages from the break in. Those of you who know him, know that he is a very kind hearted man and goes out of his way to help others. It is unfortunate that these kinds of things happen. We are grateful for the supportive community we have surrounding us and thank you for all of your help.  We understand that everyone is going through a difficult time with right now, given the circumstances, but we hope you can help by providing financial support during this time.
