My name is Vanessa and I have 4 beautiful children. Also, I apologize now if this is a long post. In November of 2019 my husband died. Unfortunately he died 4 days after our daughter's first birthday and 3 days before one of our son’s 8th birthdays. Life has been nothing but crazy since that happened. I was diagnosed shortly after his death with a set of genetic illnesses that were a complete shock since I was adopted at birth in a closed adoption with hardly and medical history. Since 2019 I have had more than 10 surgeries ( 2 of which necessary and not covered by my insurance so my parents paid out of pocket for because insurance wouldn't pay for) on top of helping me with all of my bills. I spend A LOT of time in the hospital. Thankfully my parents and neighbors help with the kids during those times

Shortly after my husband died, our now 12 year old was also diagnosed, with high functioning autism, so a triple whammy so to speak.

Today I went to the doctor and they are going to be putting me comfort care and DNI and all of those things that go with I want to make as many happy memories with them as possible. There is so much I want to do with the kids before I die, but I have no idea how to make those things happen. I can no longer work due to my illnesses so I'm trying to sell whatever I can to get the money to make these memories with my kids.

This money would help us be able to do some extra fun things and make those memories, help with the cost of moving them to their new home, and help with funeral expenses and various bills associated with this whole situation.

My heart breaks for them and for my parents who have been helping support us these past few years.
