<div>Hello my name is Shalene, I am UK citizen, living in London with my heritage from the island of Jamaica.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After hurricane Melissa devastated farming parishes, family &amp; friends I know we're cut off from the world and I decided to create a WhatsApp group called connectJA, to bring together family, friends, strangers to essentially help each other to locate our families in the affected areas Westmoreland &amp; St. Elizabeth, Trewlany, these areas have various towns that have been completey wiped out, home's complete gone, personal belongings destroyed, and loads of lives are gone and may lives are saved but stranded and without.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As I posted via my personal social platforms, I was able to connect with people across the plain( earth),
</div>
<div>With help from reliable person on the ground of Jamaica, I was able to donate to my family and others the basic provisions that is desperately needed like food &amp; water.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Essentially there is alot more to do and require time, our support no matter the amount, whatever you can do, it will be given to the families in these parishes help rebuild and find solutions going forward.
</div>
<div>I am not gaining any money from doing this, as I mentioned all donations will be converted into the required supplies and basic provisions, at a later stage we will be providing barrels and more but for now raising money.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please share this and please WhatsApp group for support and relevant information on current events.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thankyou for time and your
</div>
<div>donations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>***update, please share this gofundme with friends and family, there is so much is needed, please join my WhatsApp group called
</div>
