Familia canaria en apuros. Canary family help!

Buenas. Somos una familia joven a la que el covid ha dejado bastante maltrecha. Mi mujer y yo teníamos trabajo, así que el año pasado tuvimos a la pequeña Abigail. No es que tuviésemos mucho dinero, y dado que mi mujer no es de las islas, tampoco teníamos un soporte familiar detrás. Pero no importaba, ambos trabajábamos duro, dándose el caso incluso de que mi mujer trabajó embarazada de 8 meses y volvió a la carga a las dos semanas de nacer la niña.

Fue por diciembre de 2019 cuando descubrimos que estaba embarazada de nuevo. Fue una auténtica alegría, es decir ¿a quién no le hace ilusión su propio hijo? El pequeño Einar José venía en camino. Así que formalizamos nuestra relación casándonos. Incluso habíamos preparado el viaje de novios con fecha de mayo de 2020. 

Pero llegó el covid. De repente nos vimos en casa encerrados, sin poder trabajar. Debido a la idiosincrasia del país en el que vivimos pasamos de ingresar en casa 2000 euros mensuales a menos de 900. Cosas de la economía sumergida. Y eso en junio, puesto que estuve dos meses sin cobrar debido al retraso del pago y a la negligencia de la gestoría de la empresa. Tuvimos que empeñar muchos de nuestros bienes de valor, recurrir a créditos revolving... e incluso a prestamistas, todo con tal de dar de comer a la familia y pagar el alquiler. 

Y lo remata el hecho de que ahora es más que probable que perdamos el trabajo, pues le reclamamos al jefe que nos legalice las nóminas. Su respuesta ha sido hostil. 

Ambos trabajábamos con turistas, por lo que si nos despidieran sería casi imposible conseguir un trabajo a corto plazo.

Así que ahora nos vemos con una deuda de más de 3000 euros, un pie en el paro y dos bebés. Siempre hemos sido muy trabajadores, y lo seguiremos siendo. Pero ahora me veo en la necesidad de buscar ayuda para quitarme las deudas contraídas. Quizás gracias a eso podamos sobrevivir unos meses más. Solo digo a aquel que me lea, que esto no es para mí. Es para mi familia. Para mis niños. Gracias. De corazón.

And that in June, since I was two months without payment due to late payment and the negligence of the company's management. We had to pawn many of our valuables, resort to revolving loans ... and even moneylenders, all in order to feed the family and pay the rent.

And it is finished off by the fact that now it is more than likely that we will lose our job, as we demand that the boss legalize our payroll. Their response has been hostile.

We both worked with tourists, so if we were fired it would be almost impossible to get a job in the short term.

So now we find ourselves with a debt of more than 3,000 euros, one step to unemployed and two babies. We have always been hard-working, and we will continue to be. But now I see the need to seek help to get rid of my debts. Perhaps thanks to that we can survive a few more months. I only say to those who read me that this is not for me. It's for my family.
