Fallyne Jayne’s Family Fund
Taylor and Chris are enduring the unthinkable after having to say “see ya later” to their newest baby girl, their beautiful and sweet Fallyne Jayne.
After finding out at 19 weeks pregnant that the odds weren’t in their baby girl’s favor and that they would likely lose her before birth, they set out to seek care from top of the line specialist from the Fetal Interventions at The Fetal Center in Houston, TX. They hoped to cherish the precious time that they had while she was still safely nestled in her momma’s belly and prayed there would be an intervention that could save or prolong Fallyne’s life.
Sweet Fallyne held on longer than any expert could have predicted. Week after week Fallyne’s parents were told she would die any day and that there’s no way she would survive another week. Week after week, month after month, She continued to thrive in her Mommy’s belly, no doubt to give her momma, daddy, and siblings as much time as possible to make memories while they were able to have their whole family together as one.
At 4:02 pm on September 27, 2020, Fallyne Jayne was born into heaven via Emegergency Cesarean with the sweetest whisps of blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She weighed in at 3lbs 4oz, 16” long, and couldn’t have been more perfect in the eyes of her momma. She was greeted earthside by her parents, her 3 oldest sisters, her great grandpa, and a healthcare team of what her parents would say were “angels walking the earth”.
After taking time to love on her and let her siblings meet her, her family was forced to say “see ya later” and brace themselves for life without their daughter and sister.
After enduring complex medical conditions over the years with their second oldest daughter Addalyne, Chris has already exhausted all of his paid time off and is currently (and has been) on leave without pay. Adding the multiple trips to Houston to give Fallyne the best chance possible, and now the end-of-life arrangements for their beautiful baby girl, Chris has been understandably unable to work, therefore not getting paid. As you can imagine, all of this compiled has made for an insurmountable financial hit for their family.
Although we can’t take away the physical pain that they’re feeling, we can attempt to lighten their financial load as they grieve and try to find their way to a new “normal” all while missing a whole piece of themselves.
