Falcons to Championship- Matching Fund Drive
Albany High Robotics Team 1493 recently won the Tech Valley Regional Robotics Competition. This has earned us the opportunity to attend the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Detroit, Michigan April 25th-28th. One of our founding principles has been that any student who wants to attend competitions can do so at no cost to them. This allows students and families to not have to worry about raising money to be able to attend.
With the support on an anonymous donor every dollar of the first $2000 raised will be matched.
Your donation will help support sending Albany High students on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to the FIRST Robotics Championship.
This fundraising effort by is intended to supplement the support the team will be receiving from the City School District of Albany ,Gene Haas Foundation, and National Grid for this wonderful opportunity that the students have earned.
