<div>Faizan was born with Mosaic Edwards Syndrome, this is a rare genetic condition that has a very poor prognosis. Alhumdullilah Faizan defied all odds and we were blessed to have 20 years with him. He was witty and loved life. He became his own advocate and raised awareness for the rights of less abled people and people who stammered. He was active on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok.

<div>Faizan and his family have been supported by Francis House since he was 9 months old. Faizan called it his 'Happy place' and loved being invited to enjoy time with staff and other disabled people. Faizan was always loved and well looked after by everyone there. Before Faizan passed away he briefly stayed in Francis house's supported living accommodation. He was able to fulfil his dream of living independently and that made him so happy.

<div>One year has passed since Faizan was with us, and just like last year we went on a walk in the beautiful outdoors in Manchester. Thank you to all those who showed up and supported us on the day as well as those who donated online. We raised funds for Francis house, the place Faizan loved. Francis house always brought a smile to his face - and with all the money raised we can help put a smile on other children’s faces now.
