On December 17th, after 87 years on this earth, my mom unexpectedly lost her life to the hell that is 2020 - COVID 19. Full of spit and vinegar just 2 weeks earlier, this devastating disease took her life when seemingly nothing else could.
She gave birth to 8 children; raised my brother and I by herself in the 70’s after kicking cervical cancer’s ass. She worked as a nurse for over 25 years before retiring to become an in-home care nurse, and then ultimately actually retiring when driving herself was no longer an option. She survived a brain tumor to see the birth of great, great grandchildren.
We are raising funds to help provide a full Catholic burial as desired by my mom. We’d like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this time.
