Hi everyone, I'm Destiny Nguyen and my cousin Faith Tran recently came in contact with a very serious accident in San Jose, CA which resulted in critical injuries. The doctor revealed that she is actually very lucky to still be alive today, as seen by the state of the car. The driver was under the influence and she sat in the passenger seat, and suffered the most injuries of the three that were in the car. Faith is supposed to be going off to college in just a few days to start her freshmen quarter, at SFSU, however with our family’s financial cutbacks and the time it may take her to heal, we are unsure of the possibilities. It is hard to her to open her eyes, be awake for a long period of time, breathe from her nose because it is broken, and eat without pain alongside pus coming out. In order to assist her in a faster recovery and get her the medical attention and cosmetic surgery that she needs, our family is asking for help.

As a message for everyone out there, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and kindly ask for anyone that is under the influence, to not drive a vehicle. You can risk killing or injuring your loved ones, yourself, and innocent ones you may be associated with. After seeing the pain and difficulties that Faith and others involved have endured, we wish that for no one will choose to driver under the influence in the future.

If we can reach our goal, we will be using the funds to pay for Faith's nose surgery and any other doctor fees that she will encounter. Her mother Kelly Tran will be in charge of all the funds that are donated.
