Faith in Action Fundraiser 2020

Faith in Action (F.I.A) is made up of a group of children in our Parish, St. Maximilian Kolbe, in Runcorn, Cheshire, England ranging in age from 10 to 17 years.

The aim of this group is for the children to
literally put their 'Faith' in 'Action' by supporting our Parish and raising vital funds to support various charities in our local area and beyond!


Over the last few years the children have
organised various sponsored events including bike rides, a particular favourite! Walks,  penalty shoot outs, cake sales and fun activities at our annual craft fair to name but a few!

They have also supported parishioners in need by offering their services as gardeners aswell as cleaning and restoring donated gardening
tools to provide people living in our local
community with the equipment they need to
tend their own gardens.


So far F.I.A have successfully raised funds for Halton Haven Hospice, Aid to the Church in
Need and CAFOD to name but a few.


During the summer of 2020 F.I.A will be taking part in various events including a run/walk, penalty shoot out, football keepy ups and a bike ride!

The aim of these events is to raise much
needed funds for a Roman Catholic School
situated in Beit Sahour, a Village adjoining
Bethlehem.

This school has been chosen as the situation at the moment is tough for them, they depend on donations from parents sending their children to the school and support from Parishes like
ours. They have to do the best they can with
basic equipment and limited resources. F.I.A
hope to raise as much as they can so that their brothers and sisters in Beit Sahour can enjoy   the best education possible!

But we need your help! F.I.A are hoping to raise £400 for the school and would be very grateful for any sponsors and / or donations you can  offer!
