Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of our sister, Kendra Radford. Kendra is a remarkable woman whose faith in Christ has been a guiding light through the darkest moments of her health journey. Kendra has faced and overcome significant challenges, and now, she needs our support more than ever.

In 2017, Kendra was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer. Through unwavering faith and medical intervention, she successfully conquered cancer and entered remission. However, the treatment plan led to the placement of an ostomy bag, triggering complications such as gastroparesis (stomach paralysis) and a subsequent stomach infection. The severity of these complications required the removal of 80% of her stomach.

This complex health journey resulted in Kendra facing difficulties with food intake, leading to drastic weight loss of over 100 pounds in a span of six months. Malnutrition became a challenge, setting the stage for her recent health decline. Kendra has been off work since January, and her current hospital stay marks her 6th surgery, addressing a recurrent hiatal hernia and an infected gallbladder in which both were removed.

Kendra, along with her family, remains steadfast in their faith, believing that God is in control. They trust in His guidance for every doctor, nurse, and medical staff member involved in Kendra's care. While the journey ahead is slow and challenging, there is hope, and a carefully planned course of action is in place for Kendra's recovery.

The financial strain on the Radford family is substantial, with ongoing medical expenses, care needs, and the day-to-day challenges of supporting a family during this difficult time. We are turning to our community for help, asking for your support to alleviate the financial burden on Kendra and her family.
