Hi, I’m Amelia Rose McCroskie.

 

 

 

Here are a few things you should know about me…

I turned 2-years-old in October 2021 and had THE BEST birthday.

I LOVE Minnie Mouse.

I have a big brother who I call Bubba, and I love very much.

… and I’m gonna be a BIG SISTER soon. So Mommy and Daddy tell me.

But, that’s not why you’re here…

 

On January 18th, 2022, after going to my Pediatrician because I had a fever for too long and felt awful, my blood work said I was severely anemic, and they sent me to the ER. With test after test and more than a week curled up under my Elsa blanket in that huge hospital bed, they finally found out what was making me sick.

 

On January 28th I was officially diagnosed with Grade M Neuroblastoma. They say it’s all over me, even in my bone. Apparently, I have a grapefruit-size tumor hiding in my body that they need to get out, which is why I had to start chemotherapy immediately.

I have a long fight ahead, so me and my family could definitely use all the help we can get.
