Christian radio station in Belize, “FaithFM” is a story of God’s amazing grace and transforming power of faith on those who believe. Windell Borland Jr., a man of humble means, had one desire in mind: sharing with others the Word of God.
It all started from a humble beginning Buying air time at a local radio stations by playing sermons from audio tapes which worked for some time but was expensive to support and also his programs was rejected by other radio station. Nevertheless, God came to the rescue and led him to build a radio station of his own and provided necessary means and knowledge.
Junior Borland and his wife Addy share with us their story how God made this radio not only possible but also to grow to become the largest Christian radio in Belize in terms of coverage. The radio is entirely commercial free and run 24x7 only supported by him, his family, friends and faithful listeners.
Still there is more work to be done. Junior Borland wants to increase the coverage and broadcast his program across the borders of Belize to Guatemala and Mexico. This will require more electric power for main transmitter that is located on one of the highest mountains in Belize and is supported entirely by solar panels and a power generator. This means that more solar panels and more batteries will be needed and a taller antenna tower has to be build. There is, also, a pressing need to update the radio equipment.
We are asking for a donation for this purpose. All collected dollars will be exclusively spent on radio equipment, solar panels and batteries. Therefore, kindly consider donating your money to this worthy cause.
