FairFight Disha 2018

I'm raising money to return to Disha House in Varanasi, northern India. I represent FairFight - a charity which supports vulnerable young women in developing countries. We use martial arts to build physical and mental resilience, confidence, and happiness. In India our mission is to expand the potential of girls aged from 6-18 who are recovering from experiences in child prostitution, drug trafficking and extreme poverty.

I'm hoping the success of our previous work will attract wider attention on this time as with more money we can really develop the project and reach more vulnerable children in the city.
In my visit I will be assessing the impact and effectiveness of our previous work and supporting the further development of the local instructor team. We'll be strengthening links with other female martial arts students in the city. And I'll be able to work directly with the girls in their personal development and help them reflect on their progress.
Any amount, no matter how small, will have a direct impact on our ability to support these girls to be independent empowered young women, free to pursue their ambitions regardless of gender or background. Big change starts with individuals. It's them, and it's you. Please help.
