At roughly 11:00 PM on November 10, 2020, a historic home, now an occupied duplex, in the heart of the Fairfield Historic District went up in flames. By the grace of God, no people or animals were physically harmed, but that does not discount the loss this fire has caused. Today, Ashley and Matt Smith, as well as their 17 month old daughter, Olive, are in need of our help. While some items lost are easily replaceable, most are not without our help.
There is no such thing as too little to give. And the Smiths plan to use any excess funds gained to help the downstairs apartment occupants as well, however they may need. And if items or funds are acquired that neither the Smiths nor the downstairs occupants need, rest assured those items and/or funds will be given to others in need.
There has been a total outpouring of love from our community that we could not have possibly expected.
At this time, if you are able to donate items, The Smiths are in need of household items such as kitchenware, towels, general pantry items, medicine, cleaning products, etc. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!
