Fairbanks Family Emergency Fund

Marvin and Laura Fairbanks lost their home to a fire. They were out when the fire broke out. Their dog Dulcita died of smoke inhalation, but their other dog, Storm, survived. Losing Dulcita has been hard for them. Fortunately, no people were harmed. And the fire did not spread to the neighbors.

The contents of their home cannot be salvaged. They have begun the long process of working with the insurance company and finding a new place to live, hoping and  planning to rebuild their home.  Meanwhile, they are staying with friends and working to figure all this out. Joel is housing Storm.

Laura says, the response they received from family, friends and neighbors has been kind, caring and beyond anything they could have imagined. They feel truly blessed.

Thank you, all the hugs, words of encouragement, offers to help, prayers and so much more have been most welcome and much appreciated.

We don’t know what they need at the moment. But we acknowledge that this will be a long road. Thank you for anything you can do to help.
