<div>Mit der Tour möchte ich nicht nur neue Länder und Menschen kennenlernen, sondern auch etwas <strong><em>Gutes</em></strong> tun und Geld für das Engagement des<strong><em> "Westfälisches Kinderdorf e.V."</em></strong> sammeln!

<div>Ursprünglich war die Intention einen <strong>Freiwilligendienst</strong> von einigen Monaten im Ausland zu machen. Darüber bin ich über den "Westfälisches Kinderdorf e.V." aus meiner Heimatstadt <strong>Paderborn</strong> auf das internationale <strong>Kinderdorfprojekt </strong>in<strong> Ghana</strong> gestoßen.

<div>In der Vorbereitung für den Freiwilligendienst habe ich erfahren, dass Dienste dieser Art erst ab einer Dauer von 6 Monaten möglich sind, was für mich und meine verfügbare Zeit leider nicht in Frage kam.

<div>Der Gedanke etwas <strong>Gutes</strong> zu unternehmen, <strong>blieb</strong>:


</div>


<div><br />


</div>


<div>Neben einem<strong> Kindergarten</strong>, einer <strong>Ganztagsbetreuung</strong> für Kinder aus meist armen Verhältnissen und einer<strong> Senior Highschool</strong>, gibt es vor Ort auch ein <strong>Krankenhaus</strong>, welches mit einer instabilen <strong>Energieversorgung</strong> zu kämpfen hat.


</div>


<div>Durch die Anfälligkeit des ghanaischen Stromnetzes, kam es im Krankenhaus schon oft zu <strong>Blackouts</strong>. Das Notstromaggregat, welches ohnehin nur für eine kurzfristige Überbrückung der Stromversorgung gedacht ist, wird mit immer <strong>knapper</strong> werdendem Diesel betrieben. Die Nutzungskosten dafür sind in letzter Zeit sehr stark gestiegen.

<div>Die <strong>LÖSUNG</strong>: Eine hauseigene <strong>Solaranlage</strong>, die das Krankenhaus <strong>verlässlicher, unabhängiger </strong>und auch <strong>umweltfreundlicher</strong> mit Strom versorgt.


</div>


<div>Durch die Anschaffung der Solaranlage ist der finanzielle Bedarf des Krankenhauses stark gestiegen. Genau deshalb möchte ich das Krankenhaus mit den Spenden unterstützen!

<div>Originally, the intention was to do a volunteer service of a few months abroad. In addition, I came across the international children's village project in Ghana via the "Westfälisches Kinderdorf e.V." from my hometown of Paderborn.

<div>In the preparation for the voluntary service, I learned that services of this type are only possible from a duration of 6 months, which unfortunately was out of the question for me and my available time.

The thought of doing something good remained:<br />

<div>In addition to a kindergarten, a full-day care for children from mostly poor backgrounds and a senior high school, there is also a local hospital that has to struggle with an unstable energy supply.
</div>
<div>Due to the vulnerability of the Ghanaian power grid, there have often been blackouts in the hospital. The emergency generator, which is only intended for a short-term bridging of the power supply anyway, is operated with an increasingly scarce diesel. The cost of use for this has risen very strongly recently<span>.</span>

<div><span>The SOLUTION: An in-house solar system that supplies the hospital with more reliable, independent and also environmentally friendly electricity.</span>
</div>
<div><span>The purchase of the solar system has greatly increased the financial needs of the hospital. That's exactly why I want to support the hospital with the donations!</span>
