<div>I used to live a dignified life. I had a stable job and worked hard to help support my children, my wife, my mother, and my younger siblings.

<div>But after my father passed away four years ago, the full responsibility to look after my family fell on my shoulders and I carried it with pride.
</div>

</div>
<div>But now our lives have been destroyed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our home was reduced to rubble. My workplace shut down. The streets are filled with danger. There is no food. No clean water. No shelter. No electricity.
</div>

</div>
<div>Every night is a nightmare and every day is a struggle to keep my family alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In a desperate attempt to protect them, I managed to send my Mum, my sister, my sister-in-law and my wife and our two children to Egypt.
</div>

</div>
<div>To stay behind so they could live was the hardest decision of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I am still here in Gaza with the rest of my family who couldn't get out, trying so hard just to survive each day.
</div>

<div>Why I’m Asking for Help

<div>I never imagined I would need to ask for help like this. But I can no longer provide for my family on my own.
</div>
