<div>I never thought I'd ever be in a position to need a gofundme.  I've had auto immune kidney disease for over 20 years. In 2023 my kidneys starting worsening rapidly after covid.  I started the transplant process in Cincinnati January 2024. I faught all year and finally got approved but my child and 20 others were denied to donate at UC. I had multiple procedures including a spinal tap and heart surgery to close a hole in my heart in the process. After my kid was denied, we went to UK Lexington.  Theyve been wonderful! Im on the list and my kid is just a few weeks from final approval to donate. We are a perfect match.  Im trying daily to stay off dialysis.  I was on FMLA at my company and in perfect standing. Not even 1 call off in 14 months. My boss found out my surgery was approved a few weeks ago. He immediately started performance write ups over nonsense and Friday fired me. Im now needing dialysis.  Im weeks from this transplant and with zero income.  It will be months before I can get SSI which is less than half my income and a 5 month waiting period for medicare after dialysis starts which isnt cheap. I have a house and vehicle which I must have and almost 20,000 in medical bills. My savings is wiped out. I plan to file a lawsuit for wrongful termination, but could lose or take a year or more to see anything. The bottom line is I need help with cobra, household bills, food and medical expenses and prescriptions. Im devastated that my company would terminate me right after my insurance approval.  I just got a raise and a really good annual evaluation in December.  I passed my office OSHA inspection with an A rating with my company and my staff and physicians have been reaching out so upset and broken hearted for me. I loved my job as a medicaloffice manager. It's awful. If you can donate any amount it will be put straight to help me get my transplant and stay on top of my finances. I appreciate any amount.
