Face Shields to Protect Healthcare Workers

As of right now, doctors and nurses are being exposed to COVID-19 patients everyday making them the most vulnerable to contract the disease. In order to help the medical community, our club the Breaking BEARriers has been making face shields to donate to local hospitals. We are a youth leadership club and strive to make the world a better place one step at a time. And in this case, one hospital at a time.

The US now has world's largest coronavirus outbreak with more than 400,000 confirmed cases and 12,000 deaths — numbers that are likely to keep rising. But we are fighting back and taking every opportunity to help, and that starts with making face shields for those who work at hospitals.

In the past week, the Breaking BEARriers successfully delivered face shields to a local hospital. We plan to expand what we are doing right now and deliver 1500 more face shields to frontline hospitals. We cannot reach this goal without your help.
We would greatly appreciate donations to fund our project in supporting healthcare workers.
