Charlestown Face Shield Project
Donation protected
Our focus is to get as many high quickly re-usable shields in the hands of front line medical heroes as quickly as possible. These heroes need an immediate solution while the larger companies and supply chains spool up.
To date, we have built and donated 26,000 shields. Each shield costs about $3 to make and all labor is being donated.
We choose to donate the shields both because MANY medical institutions needed that and it significantly reduced the time it takes to get them in the hands of medical professionals.
We will finish this project and get these life-saving shields to the heroes that need them no matter what. But if you or someone you know could help that would be great. We are still about $20,000 in the red.
