2nd Chance For A Dad in Need

Sometimes we just need a leg up in life.  Recently learning about the harsh reality a friend's brother lives in day-to-day, it instantly broke my heart.  His life has been hard, and now he is a single dad, with no childcare, no consistent home to live in, no vehicle (no license) and no ability to work because of his responsibility for his son.   He travels over 2 hours each way by two seperate bus lines a trip that would take 15 minutes by car to get his son to a pre school for 3 hours so he can then try to get somewhere else to do some work for pay.   There is more, but that alone bugged my mommy-eyes out of my head and made me want to cry.  His determination and reciliency depsite what he has been handed overwhelmed me. 

This fund is being used as a love gift for this man - a chance to give him hope that the world is not out to get him, and that there are infact poeple who care.

The goal is to be able to cover renting a room for him for at least 4 months, to buy 4 months worth city bus passes, and to be able to provide grocery store gift cards for meal time stability for him and his son and hopefully be able to help with some childcare too .... all this so that he can get his feet under him, and get work situated and lined up - and ultimately so that he can catch a glimpse of hope.
